Radiation Oncology Physics
Bill Ruck earned a BS in electrical engineering from the Ohio State University, an MS in nuclear engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology, and an MS in medical physics from Wayne State University. He is board certified in medical health physics and diagnostic imaging physics by the American Board of Medical Physics and in therapeutic radiological physics by the American Board of Radiology. Bill completed a 20+ year career in the United States Air Force, reaching the rank of lieutenant colonel. He has worked as a consulting medical physicist in the Dayton, Ohio, area since 2004. His areas of clinical expertise include external beam radiation therapy, high dose rate brachytherapy, radiation shielding design, and radiation therapy equipment calibration and quality assurance. He is a Certified Radiation Expert in Ohio.
